Darcy Graham wants to own his own clothing store one day.

The Scotland wing set up his own brand Raphael with his family in the wake of his younger brother Clark suffering a severe brain injury in a car accident in 2020, and the firm has proven popular with occasional pop-up stores, so he dreams of expanding with major retail outlets one day.

He told Rugby World magazine: “For me, I’d love to keep growing it.

“I think my mum is quite happy at how it is just now, but I’d love to keep pushing it on.

“My dream would be to get it into some shops, that would be pretty special. So that would be my top goal for Raphael one day.

“I’d love to own my own shop one day, like in Edinburgh. Maybe in a barbers, I think it would go well!”

Darcy finds working on the brand a great way to relax away from rugby.

He said: “It doesn’t feel like work when I’m here at the desk. I just enjoy plodding away doing stuff.”

And the 28-year-old sportsman hopes to grow the brand enough for it to be a “fall back” when his sporting career comes to an end.

He said: “I’d like to have Raphael to a certain stage so if I did have to step back, I’ve got this to fall back on.

“Your career goes so fast, you have to look at Plan B early on.”
