Harry Kane knows his actions can have a “big impact on people”.
The England captain knows his own sporting career won’t last forever, so he’s invested in the life of golf apparel and sportswear brand Reflo to secure his kids’ future but insisted he is always thoughtful about the companies he supports because he knows he’s a role model to young people.
The father-of-four told bunkered magazine: “Obviously a football career won’t last forever, so it’s important for me to invest in the right things, as I’m going to be leaving it all to my kids when they’re older.
“That’s why I invested, as it seemed like a good opportunity and an exciting project.
“I feel like the company is only going to get stronger and stronger.
“I know how big football is and how many people look up to me as a role model around the world and know my words and actions could have a big impact on people.
“This is something I’ve learned as I’ve got more experienced and older.
2Whenever I’m investing in brands, I always look at what they’re trying to achieve, what it’s going to look like in the future.
“Being a dad of four children, I’m looking at their future and what the world is going to be like when they’re older.
“So I think it’s important for me to choose brands that I relate to and align with my values.”
Harry was introduced to Renflo by chance when he played in the Icons Cup all-star golfing event back in 2022 and was kitted out in their apparel.
He said: “I didn’t really know much about them at the time but I loved the apparel.
“I then got in conversations with Rory and the team. They had a great product.
“The golf range they had was something I enjoyed wearing and using, so once I found out more about the company and what they do to make all the clothes, it seemed like a good fit.”
