Tyson Fury believes Anthony Joshua has poor punch resistance.

The former heavyweight champion mocked his British rival, and future opponent, after Daniel Dubois’ dramatic victory over Fabio Wardley in Manchester.

Fury, 37 – who is set to face Joshua later this year – said on social media: “I’ve just been sat here thinking after Dubois’ unbelievable fight last night.

“Dubois fought ‘Big Baby’ Miller, stopped him but never put him down. Then he fought [Filip] Hrgovic, stopped him but never put him down. He fought Wardley last night, in an unbelievable fight, stopped him but never put him down. He hit [Oleksandr] Usyk with some big bombs, never put him over.

“Yet he fights Anthony Joshua and pummels him, puts him to the floor [four] times. I’m not saying Anthony Joshua’s chinless but there are the facts. Take it as you wish and as you will.”

Fury subsequently backtracked on his earlier comments, describing Joshua – a former world champion and Olympic gold medalist – as “chinny”.

He said: “Everybody else never went over, not a singular person, ‘Big Baby’ Miller, Hrgovic, Usyk or Wardley but Joshua goes down [four] times … Chinny!”

Joshua has been training with Oleksandr Usyk, the current lineal heavyweight champion, over recent months.

And Fury has revealed that he’d love to rematch Usyk in the future, having already lost to the Ukrainian twice.

Fury said in a video message: “Greedy belly is coming, for a feast of rabbit pie. First, I’ll start with the chinless bum ‘dosser’ Anthony Joshua, and I will knock him out.

“And then I am coming back for a rabbit pie. Greedy belly is ready for some more rabbit pie.

“There’s only me. There’s nobody else. I’m the cash cow. You want big paydays, it ain’t an Agit Kabayel, it ain’t an Anthony Joshua, it ain’t a Dubious, it’s in the gypsy king. Come on! London, New York, Las Vegas, let’s rock and roll, baby!”
