Fabio Wardley thinks he will be ready to fight Oleksandr Usyk should he beat Joseph Parker.

The British fighter takes on Parker at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday (25.10.25) and thinks he will be ready for a bout against the heavyweight division’s “biggest carrot” Usyk should he triumph.

Asked about a potential clash with the undisputed heavyweight world champion, Wardley said: “It’s the biggest carrot in the game for a multitude of reasons.

“Not just because it’s a world title shot, it would be an undisputed shot, and it’s against Usyk who is a generational talent. There are multiple layers as to why it’s such a great opportunity.”

Wardley has used his devastating power to remain unbeaten during his career so far but is prepared for his toughest yet against the experienced New Zealander.

He said: “We have to have plan A, B and C because Parker doesn’t just have one skill set.

“He’s not just fast or quick with his hands or powerful, he has a bunch across the board so we’re having to cover a lot of bases.

“Previous experiences against different opponents have helped me with that because I’m able to piece in bits I’ve already learned – not the whole game plan – but little sections that match with Parker’s skillset as well.”

Wardley recently stated that he believed Usyk would want to fight him if he comes out on top against Parker.

He told Sky Sports: “I think I’m an exciting fight for him. Boxing at the moment, with the landscape and the different options and things people have, he may see his career in a different direction or may do something else.

“But I think I’m probably one of the most entertaining fighters out there at the moment and I think he’s a natural born entertainer inside and outside of the ring. So I think very much so, he’d enjoy a fight with me.”
