Daniel Dubois’ Head of Performance Analysis Mohammed Ali has insisted Dynamite should be given a third fight with Oleksandr Usyk.

Triple D, 28, was defeated by The Cat, 39, for the second time last July, and while Dubois has since turned his attention to WBO heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley, 31, Dynmaite’s team does not think his time in the ring with Usyk is over yet.

During an interview with talkSPORT, Ali said: “Dubois is a magnificent fighter, he did everything right in camp.

“The difference was the experience really on the night, but this is something Daniel would revisit again.

“He’s done it now and he knows exactly what went wrong, he knows where his weaknesses are.

“You are looking at a guy who is going to win a world title, he has tasted an undisputed fight once and he will go on to win it.”

Ali added Dubois’ experience of fighting for undisputed titles is now firmly under his belt, and therefore is capable of leaving the ring victorious.

He said: “I think because of the experience he will be able to beat Usyk.

“Your mind processes things differently, there will be a lot of nerves but because of his experience he will know exactly what to do.

“I’ve always said to him you will be undisputed champion, the trilogy and becoming undisputed champion is something I know that Don [Charles, Dubois’ trainer] has on his mind.

“This is where he is going to places, and Wardley is just one of the people on the journey.”

For now, Dubois is circling Wardley, with the fight aiming at May 9, 2026 at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, UK.

After the fight was confirmed, Dubois said: “On the 9th May the world title reign is over for Fabio, and I will become champion again. Let’s go.”
