Max Verstappen is “all in” in his hunt for a fifth F1 world title.
The Red Bull driver is 24 points behind world championship leader Lando Norris heading into the final two races of the 2025 campaign and has vowed to give his all in his quest to become champion again.
Verstappen – who won the Las Vegas Grand Prix last weekend – told reporters: “Ready! See what happens. It is the same, I feel the same as last week.
“Yes, it is closer. Ideally I would have loved to have had it even more close, of course we’ll try our best. All in, and hopefully we can make it exciting to the end.”
The Dutch driver has been the form man in the second half of the campaign as he has closed in the leading McLaren pair of Norris and his team-mate Oscar Piastri and believes that results falling in his favour has allowed him to remain in title contention.
Verstappen said: “Something that I definitely wouldn’t have expected but here we are.
“I think we had a very strong end to the season, much more happy with that and (I) guess also we’ve been helped a little bit with certain things.
“Results, crashes, disqualifications. We should not forget that I guess but I’m happy.
“Naturally I would have liked a bit of a better first half but that’s something that you can’t change. We’ll just try to focus on the last two races and try to do the best we can.”
